LI·te is Noctio’s product suite oriented to the fulfillment of the Lawful Interception regulatory requirements in Telecom Operator’s environments.

LI·te product suite is specifically designed to satisfy LI needs in tiny to mid-sized Telecom Carriers, and differentiates itself from the vast majority of similar applications available in the Lawful Interception market by implementing some distinctive features:

-Easy installation and operation;

-Fully ETSI standards compliant;

-Quickly customizable to fit national standards and requirements;

-Self-sufficient;

-Immediate network insertion;

-Little footprint and power consumption;

-No proprietary hardware required.

LI·te product suite counts three base platforms, differing in the technology used to interconnect with the hosting network:

  1. -LI·teip: Mediation device for Internet and telephone interception over IP core networks for both mobile and wireline environments;

  2. -LI·teisdn: Mediation device for telephone interception over E1 and EuroISDN trunks;

  3. -LI·tess7: Mediation device for telephone interception over SS7/ISUP trunks.

Using proper combinations of standard add-on software modules - allowing easy adaptation to the specific operational environment and the relevant regulatory requirements - each version can be customized as needed.


LI·te configuration for in-band interception:

LI·te base solutions are designed to operate as standard LI Mediation devices, thus relying upon the Internal Interception Functions (IIF) available in the network nodes (namely “in-band interception”).

Noctio provides plug-in modules for its LI·te platforms compatible and inter-operating with the IIF from major IP and Telephone nodes providers, including Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, Nokia and Siemens.


LI·te configuration for out-band interception:

Add-on probing modules are available for all the platforms and technologies supported by the LI·te product suite to allow out-band operation. In this configuration the target network is passively monitored by the insertion of proper probes within the live network, without affecting or interfering in any respect with the live network nodes.

Noctio probing modules catalog expresses complete coverage of several interface technologies, including:

-ISDN;

-SS7;

-Gigabit Ethernet (GbE);

-Ten Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE).
